USA Science and Engineering Festival – Volunteers Needed

It’s that time of year again! In just 3 weeks, SHPE will be participating in USA Science and Engineering Festival at the Washington Convention Center. This is a nationwide festival to spark interest in STEM fields and has thousands of participants yearly. SHPE National has a booth and is looking for volunteers. This is also a great opportunity to meet many national SHPE members, including those of the national board of directors. Please email Lucy Molina (luciadelcarmen@gmail.com) and Dora Abreu (doramaria@gmail.com) with available times to volunteer.

SHPE ETLC Conference Registration Now Open!

For the second consecutive year, Region 4 and Region 7 have joint efforts to create the Eastern Technical Leadership Conference (ETLC). The ETLC 2012 will be held in San Juan, PR on February 23 – 26, 2012. This four day event will include technical and leadership workshops combined with competitions, a Gala Banquet and a Career Expo.

Registration is now open through OneSHPE (www.shpe.org/oneshpe). Early registration deadline is January 20, 2012 & Late Registration is January 27, 2012

Undergraduate Students: $50 (Early) $100 (Late)

Graduates & Professionals: $100 (Early) $150 (Late)
